i'm still majorly pissed off at the guy who tried to steal my b&o headphones.
for those of you who don't know, i was at melbourne uni yesterday, and i was phoned by b&o that my headphones had come in. they then proceeded to tell me that they couldn't get through to my phone on saturday, and that they phoned my old phone number.
so the guy who has my old phone number told the service assistant that he was going to pick it up, but then made the mistake of asking where the store was. doofus! if you know where to take the headphones for service, you should know where to pick them up from!
so yeah. i told the service assistant to do an id, phone number and bill check for the guy who would pick it up. haha...i hope he gets nabbed by the security guard.

currently, i'm at home, sick with a tummy-bug (probably from those dodgy sausages at open day) and high on the fumes of "po sum on" (pour some on!) medicinal oil. i probably wouldn't have wanted to go to school either way today, sick or not sick. well, at least i can do some chem and spesh work while i'm lying in bed, in the 5 minutes between contractions haha...it sure seems as painful as it looks on tv.
but right now, im in my lunch break. i wonder. you know at the theatres, or at the rivoli cinemas, there's those lines of flashing lights under the verandah...do you see them as flashing in the direction of left or right, when you first look at them? i asked some people last night, and most seem to see it going right. but i see it going left. i mean, i can very quickly attune my eye to see it going right, but yes. just another one of those things i can add to my list of 'weird things i can do'.

another one of those moments, alike to the incident where my parents thought i was going out with an exchange student...
so about 5 minutes ago, i was in the bathroom. the door to my room was wide open, so my mother walked straight in to wish me good night. so she did, and on walking out she must have picked up this t-shirt of mine that was sitting on my bed. it's the yellow stussy one. anyways, so im in the bathroom, brushing my teeth, and my mother says to me:
"is this a new t-shirt?"
"nah, i got it start of this year."
"is this a girl or a boy's t-shirt? it has all these floral emblems on it...plus the sleeve is cut pretty high...especially for a medium!"
"i'm sure its a boy's t-shirt mum. i got it from the male side of the store."
(pause, for about 5 seconds)
"so what's the name of the girlfriend who you stole this t-shirt off?"
i spit toothpaste foam all over the bathroom mirror.

hello to all!
well i'm getting peeved off. no not by anybody in general, but by the people who produced the website backbone of xangas. the whole props system has fallen to bits. i havent seen a post with an odd number of eprops in quite a while....probably two months. i mean, they set the default props to 2. 2!!! i mean, that just ruins the whole idea of props. you are meant to EARN props. not get them deducted!!! the whole system needs a major reform i say.
anyways, i better get back to work...i'm currently reading dermatological reports and journals off the net....woohooo....they are crazy as hell!!!!

w00t!!! i'm 18 today!
so my birthday, although technically being in about 4.5 hours time, actually begun last night at around midnight, when people started wishing me a happy birthday on msn, and flooding my fone to the point where it was almost spam of happy bday msgs (nice one alex, now i have like four msgs worth of memory left). then i had to sign off msn at around 12:30, when my mum realised i was awake, by the annoying adium(mac derivative of msn) sounds. so she, and my dad, and my sister, who woke up a little later, wished me a happy birthday at 1 in the morning.lol.classic. so i got a new wacom tablet (UBER-PERFECT!!!!!!) from my mum, a new desk from my dad, and a t-shirt with my sister and i on it painted by my sister, which actually looks really good.
so then we had a really scrumptuous chocolate mud cake, which although was divine when i ate it, didn't feel too good this morning with matt alex violet woke me up. they came to wish me a happy birthday and give me....not sure what you would call them...they would sorta be classed in the same area as kris kringle presents, but not mean....just small presents i guess...so yes. presents. matt got me the craziest present. #34 of the matchbox old 1998-2000(as in, what was sold back then) toy car collection. the only one i didnt have! then i had to wait a while before sam and jack came along, where they all then collabratively gave me a whole roll of that baby blue and gold fleur-de-lis-esque wallpaper(yes, the alannah hill coloured one, sally), and...guess what. subscriptions to the us, uk, aus, and taiwan gq magazines. and, of course, my response was "OH MY GOD!!!AWESOME!"
so they have now gone, and im getting ready to go back out and meet up with them again later for lunch. i wonder what they have in store for me next...maybe they are going to make me buy porn, just for the fun of it...haha. but nah...i have to do that with kim one day!
PS: i've just realised that theres enough wallpaper in the roll to paper my entire room with it!! and still make envelopes!!!

as if all your guys aren't going to the open day for monash...dodgy lazy bums...you guys didn't even have a formal to go to!
anyways, so i came back from watching carmen at her majesty's theatre with a friend. it was pretty good, apart from micaela, who was acted rather sub-standardly. however, that might have been the director's fault. ill talk about it tomorrow, right now, i need some sleep! good night peoples!

wow...formal night was way cool...i'm not going to get into great detail until i've written it all down in my journal, but basically...
after school, rehearsed our act for about an hour, which ended with us being caught out by year 9s peering through the windows to either side of the classroom door, waiting to get into form assembly, which we conveniently forgot still occurred even though we had double free. after, we made the mad rush down to the city, where i pick up the buttonhole and corsage, my camera, and an extra black tie. a friend intercepted me with my suit, which he had gone to get from the store while i was rehearsing.
i then made pissbolted to mc station, and travelled by train to camberwell, on the classic 5-station express train. i got to rachel's house about half an hour late, and conveniently called her as she was doing her nails.
i got ready in about...an hour or so? after doing a mix and match of three shirts and two ties, and we left at 5:30 off to my friend's (cecil's) place. she looked rather dashing.
on arrival at cecil's house, he opened the door. in a fluoro orange suit. surprisingly enough, he did not look like a jaffa, but actually looked pretty cool. i finished doing my hair at his place, with the help of rachel, and she redid my tie...i'm wondering whether she is more pedantic about ties and canyons than i am...!!!
so we made our way by limo to the ngv intl, where we arrived at just the right time to get a space against the pavement. no double parking for us. our arrival also coincided with the arrival of other friends, where we all gathered together to take fotos, and hug and pat guys on the backs, etc.
rachel and i decided to make our way in, where we did the meet and greet. however, she did that, not me...lol. some of her friends came, so yes. she introduced them to me...
about 15 minutes later (ed: finally...) we all made our way in, and i introduced her to the so-called "group". she left shortly after to go to the loo, where i was then told that my friend (wang) was totally eyeing her off. ooo..i so wanted to take a strike at him at that moment. but i didn't. after she came out, i took her around, to meet friends at the school which used to be at camberwell high as well.

i would like to continue with this story, but its getting long-winded and i'm pressed for time. but i got a new camera to replace my old cybershot! with this new novelty, the blog is probably going to turn into one of the foto/text - fusion kind, so watch out 56k-ers...but i will try and make the pics small (byte-wise).

grrr...i have to be sick on the day of my spesh test don't i....
yes...as the title of the post says, i'm sick. sick on the day of my
spesh test. i'm down with a sore throat, headache, and a bit of a
fever. oh my gahd. im sick the day before my formal!!! >< (never will
i use asian emoticons again guys, dw...) i'm still going to go to the
test...i mean, its actually a sac. or a least part of one.counts for
50% of 60% of my spesh sac mark this year....very eeky. i feel so
languid now. it's 9:43, meaning i should get ready by 10:43, but i
have left a leeway of time until 10:38 to catch my train...damn.
thats going to be hard...i'm going to be walked like a guy racked
with a drunken stupor. i hope this headache doesn't get worse during
the sac, cause right now, i can't even concentrate on what im typing
about at all...
PS: next week's ep of house iis supposedly one of the best ever (even
though there's only been one season)
PS PS: julie, can you please get my the box set of house when it
comes out over there? i heard its coming out the end of this
month...i really really really want it!

have you ever realised that dr. house and seth cohen are alike? and they are both cool people (seth is still cool, even though i despise his mimicry of my dress...)...i mean, seth cohen does that caption/sidenote thing, where he talks about something, then goes off on a slight tangent, in a lower voice...and dr. house, he just has those moments of sarcastic remarking, like this:
Bill: His name's Joey. He's my only brother.
Dr. House: He's important to you. Got it. NO placebos for him. We'll use the real medicine.
but dr. house is way cooler. that limp, that voice, the dialogue, his eccentricities (playing ds, listening to his ipod), his way too cool board diagrams, and his funny-as-hell encounters with patients just coming in for checkups. i love that one with the man, where he said his wife was having an affair...or that episode where he just asks the guy for no reason at all if his penis is sore...haha...classic...
